The Mental Health Aware course is a half-day introductory training designed to raise awareness of mental health and reduce stigma. It provides a foundational understanding of what mental health is, how it can be affected, and how to support wellbeing in everyday settings.

Common mental health conditions, including anxiety and depression
The impact of stress and risk factors
Recognising early warning signs
How to have supportive conversations
Introduction to the MHFA action plan
Looking after your own mental wellbeing
Who it’s for:
This course is ideal for individuals who want to increase their understanding of mental health, promote positive wellbeing, and feel more confident supporting others — without undertaking the full two-day Mental Health First Aid qualification.
Duration:
Half day (approximately 4 hours)
Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of attendance.
