Booking & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to train with us. The following terms apply to all bookings for courses accredited by MHFA England.

By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking Confirmation

A course place is confirmed once full payment has been received or a valid purchase order has been accepted in writing. You will receive written confirmation and joining instructions prior to the course start date.

We reserve the right to refuse or decline a booking prior to confirmation.

2. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment must be received before the course start date.

For invoiced bookings:

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date.

  • Certificates may be withheld until full payment has been received.

3. Attendance & Accreditation Requirements

MHFA England courses require full attendance and participation to meet accreditation standards.

Participants must:

  • Attend all sessions in full

  • Actively participate in activities and discussions

  • Arrive on time and remain for the full duration

Late arrival, early departure or non-attendance will result in certification not being issued. In these circumstances, refunds cannot be provided.

4. Certification

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and full attendance, in line with MHFA England requirements.

For applicable courses:

  • Certification is valid for three years.

  • Refresher training is recommended before expiry.

Certification cannot be issued where attendance criteria are not met.

5. Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer to a future course date if a relevant one is scheduled and there are available spaces

  • Transfer requests must be made in writing at least 14 days before the course start date.

  • Transfers are subject to availability.

  • An administration fee may apply for late transfer requests.

  • One transfer per booking is permitted unless otherwise agreed.

Substitute delegates may attend at no additional charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.

6. Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing.

  • More than 14 days before the course: Refund minus administration fee

  • 7–14 days before the course: 50% of course fee payable

  • Less than 7 days before the course or non-attendance: Full course fee payable

Where payment has not yet been made, the full fee remains payable in accordance with these terms.

Refunds may be issues under extenuating circumstances

7. Course Changes

We reserve the right to reschedule or change course format (e.g. classroom to online) due to circumstances beyond our control, including instructor illness or low enrolment.

If we cancel a course, you will be offered:

  • A transfer to an alternative date, or

  • A full refund of fees paid

Our liability is limited to the course fee only.

8. Participant Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment. Behaviour that is disruptive, inappropriate or unsafe may result in removal from the course without refund.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
